“When humans become extinct in the future, the memories we have of this beautiful world will cease to exist, and nature, without our presence, will return to calm. Animals will be free again as before, reclaiming the habitat that was once theirs. A habitat that humans modified, ruined, and destroyed, polluting it, and which they will transform into a healthy environment.” Candela Acosta

This imagination is framed within the pedagogical proposal of the Ecenarro Turrillo Chair, Introduction to Project Knowledge 1 (ICP 1), Ciclo Básico Común (CBC), University of Buenos Aires UBA. It responds to a gap developed during 2023 linked to the 2084 Futures Imagined from the South Program.

Students are invited to dream and develop utopias with the motto of traveling to the future, the year 2084, and propose imaginations/transformations, understanding that design and its design disciplines are tools to improve contemporary and everyday living, with a sustainable commitment .

The teaching team was made up of Graciela Ecenarro, Andrea Santangelo, Silvina de Gennaro, Juan I. Cabello, Florencia de la Quintana, Natalia Naredo, Luciana Quartaruolo, Santiago Ortí, Andrea López, Natalia Ardissone y Mateo Olabarrieta.

Clarification: given that some of the imaginations have been delivered without a title, from the editing area of 2084 Futures Imagined from the South, we decided to give them a possible title with the intention of equaling them to other imaginations that do have them, simultaneously helping to distinguish them .
