Within the framework of Experiencias Comunitarias del Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar, (Community Experiences of the Colombian Institute for Family Welfare), the Arte Acción Colombia organization developed the Taller de Proyección de Futuros (Projection of Futures Workshop) involving children and adolescents from the district of Kennedy in Bogotá, Colombia. Based on the knowledge of the methodologies and scope of the Museum of Futures 2084 and the actions of the Observatory on Latin America OLA of The New School, Nueva York, , 160 children and adolescents from the town were asked how they imagined the world in the near future, how they saw themselves in 10 or 20 years and how they envisioned the spaces they know today changing. As a result, this video that collects the voices of the participants was created.
We would especially like to thank Cristian Charry, co-director of Arte Acción Colombia, for his shared enthusiasm and commitment.
